The AMP Fund, working in collaberation with the Children's Aid Society, has organized and sponsored mentoring workshops at the Frederick Douglass Center and Hope Leadership Academy focusing on assisting in the college application process for high school seniors.
Last February, the AMP Fund in collaberation with the Children's Aid Society sponsored its fourth annual "Youth Speak Out on Education" conference at The Children's Aid Society's Philip Coltoff Center at Greenwich Village. The conference focused on "Finding Solutions to the Drop Out Crisis." In conjunction with the conference, the AMP Fund presented the fourth annual memorial scholarship award in Audrey's name to a student who best demonstrated her qualities of education, leadership and service.
The Children's Aid Society/AMP Fund fifth annual "Youth Speak Out on Education" Conference will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Philip Coltoff Center in Greenwich Village. More details to follow!
